About Subscriptions

Learning Subscriptions (Packages) are a learning innovation designed to overcome the dual challenge of needing to learn in much greater depth but at a time when funds for learning are being eroded by financial austerity. Purchase of a package gives you access to multiple learning programmes built around a specific, important topic or theme, structured into sections to allow you to really extend your learning in that that area without regard to cost. The learning itself is of the highest quality, in video or FLASH-based forms, made available through a Learning & Interaction Platform that allows you interact as much (or as little) as you would like with other learners. Specific advantages include:

  • Huge volume of learning for one small fee
  • Learning is constantly growing
  • Full 12 months access
  • Learn on demand in bite-sized chunks
  • CPD available on all programmes

About this Subscription

What’s becoming clear is that the difference between a thriving service and one that struggles and lurches often comes down to depth of understanding and interpretation (leading to confidence to act appropriately) by its leaders and participants. It’s a whole new jungle out there and if you don’t understand it then you are at a disadvantage, in an environment that has stopped looking after its prisoners. What's more, the current level of crisis in the NHS picthes it to the very edge of a disaster and knowing what to do in the moment is absolutely critical to how it turns out. That's what this learning package is about.

This learning package is about equipping you to face two separate things - a FAST crsis (what the NHS is in this winter) and a SLOW crisis (the evolving funding and staffing crisis). Both require the right approach and yet both require different approaches.

NOTE

On purchase, you should receive access details through within the hour. However, we have had problems occasionally with NHS systems preventing the access details getting through. If you experience this, please drop a quick email to andrew@emedicus.co.uk and we will send you out an invitation to access directly from the clicpoint learning platform.

Learning Within

This learning package is about equipping you to face two separate things - a FAST crsis (what the NHS is in this winter) and a SLOW crisis (the evolving funding and staffing crisis). Both require the right approach and yet both require different approaches. The package includes:

1. Ensuring you know how to act in a FAST crisis. The key determinant of rectification versus outright disaster is knowing what to do. Nature throws you a massive curved ball by stimulating your most primitive processing, just when you really need your calmest most sensible thoughts. You need to understand this and know what to do.

  • Leading Services in and through a Crisis or Disaster

2. Equipping you with the knowledge, skills and insight necessary to understand what's going on around you, as well as to be able to take intelligent decisions without adverse consequences (the SLOW crisis). It does this element through a series of structured Zones and Learning Assets, including three main ones:

  • Insights - Understanding the Evolving Healthcare Landscape
  • Insights Update - Appropriate Responses & Intelligent Adaptations
  • Leading Services in and through a Crisis or Disaster

Each zone is broken down into component parts in a logical manner to help you understand systems and processes that are vitally important and designed to intricately work together. You probably won't like everything you discover but this is an apoltical programme designed to help you and your service become less vulnerable and consequently, we deal with it as it is, not necessarily as you'd like it to be.
